Drawing Veterans Day

Step 1:

The picture we will draw in this guide on how to draw Veterans Day incorporates an image inspired by the famous photograph raising the Flag on Iwo Jima. This famous image of soldiers hoisting an American flag during World War II has become an iconic depiction of patriotic pride.

To start this rendering, you can use straight lines for the mast. Then use curved lines for the flag’s fabric and add internal details. In this step, you can even draw the first fighter in the bottom left corner of the picture. Once these details are drawn, we can move on to step 2.

Step 2:

We will add another soldier to the image for the second step of this Veterans Day drawing. This soldier will go very close to the first soldier you drew and look much like that first soldier.

This second would grab the flag directly, while the first soldier would reach for the mast. Once you’re drawn that second soldier, we can continue adding to the picture as we move on to step three of this guide on how to draw Veterans Day.

Step 3:

You are now ready to add more soldiers to the scene in this third step of our guide on how to draw Veterans Day. First, we’ll draw a soldier holding the flagpole. This soldier will be a little different from the others since we will see a profile of his face due to the angle he is in.

It may not be easy to see at foremost, but there is also another soldier after him. We will see part of his curved helmet, and his leg will extend forward. That’s it for this step, and now we can move on to step 4 of the guide!

Step 4:
